Info for Contestants:

Plan to be at the bar by 3 pm the day of the contest to setup. You do NOT need to pre-register, just follow the instructions below.

Due to the volume of entries last year we will only accept one entry per organization. Individuals may enter though, so even if your club is "officially" entering you may still enter your own chili.

To participate, we ask that your organization bring approximately 2-3 gallons of prepared Chili (no cans!), and something to keep it warm (crock pot, chafing dish, etc). There will be electrical outlets & power strips available to plug in crock pots.

Please also bring any sides (cheese, sour cream, tortillas etc.) or display items to customize your entry.

The Regiment will provide tasting cups, ladles, napkins, tables, etc. Each entry will have a 3’ x 2 ’ area to display their entry (1/3 of a 6’x3’ table). There is no entry fee.

Awards include:

• Best of Show (Judge Advocate General's Choice.)

• Best Presentation (The Sgt. Martha Stewart Award.)

• Hottest Chili (Must be edible without inducing organ failure.)

• Audience Favorite.

• Most Original.

• Eagle Management Favorite.

The winner of the “Overall Best Chili” award will be added to a perpetual trophy on which their organization’s name and the year will be inscribed. The trophy remains the property of the the Regiment and is held for display at the Eagle.

This is a wonderful opportunity for all local clubs and organizations to come together for a unique and exciting event. We hope that you will participate.
